JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure operation of custom automated laboratory equipment by completing preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance with IDT"s quality policy
Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, fluidic, and optical devices/systems, as well as PLC controlled systems.
Practices safe working habits, follows all IDT safety policies, identifies, corrects, and reports potential safety hazards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED
Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge and use of a variety of hand tools
Reading and interpreting blue prints and equipment schematics experience a plus
Previous laboratory and chemical handling experience desired
