Kroll, LLC Director, Head of Global Benefits in Morristown, New Jersey

The Head of Global Benefits oversees Kroll's global benefits strategy and philosophy by driving the development, management and recognition of the value global benefits brings to Kroll colleagues. Managing 40 jurisdictions across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, the Head of Global Benefits will be well versed in USA benefits and have sound experience managing international benefits.

Reporting to the Global Head of Rewards, this role collaborates with leadership across the organization to align benefits with Kroll values and culture. The Head of Global Benefits is dedicated to improving existing processes and ensuring the efficient and effective management of global benefits. Additionally, they mentor, coach, and support the development of the global benefits team.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

Global Benefits Strategy and Design
Develops, maintains, and scales global benefits strategies while providing benefits that meet the varied needs of Kroll employees with mindfulness of local regulations, company culture, and business requirements.
Creates, maintains, or exceeds a market-competitive benefits program to help attract and retain talent.
Builds benefit programs that are committed to ensuring the long-term success of our people and our organization.
Operates a continuous improvement mindset, recommending high-impact, cost-effective benefit solutions

Operational Efficiency and Compliance
Organizes, creates, and maintains standard operating procedures, including system and process documentation.
Develops and manages cost-effective ways to attain and administer global benefit programs in locally relevant ways.
Applies strong analytical capabilities to assess the performance, competitiveness, and cost-effectiveness of benefits programs, using data-driven insights to guide strategic enhancements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Vendor and Partner Management
Provides leadership and oversight of benefit vendors (e.g., brokers, consultants, insurance carriers, record-keepers), trustees, and other administrative and/or legislative agencies.
Evaluates and recommends outside business partners based on performance and value to support Kroll's benefit requirements.
Manages Vendor relationships, driving change and improvement.

Mergers and Acquisitions
Leads the integration and harmonization of benefits packages for colleagues joining Kroll through acquisition.
Develops and implements scalable benefits solutions to address the unique challenges of integrating diverse benefits plans while maintaining compliance with local regulations and preserving employee satisfaction.

Communication and Engagement
Develops communication tools and documents, driving effective communication of benefit strategies and programs.
Builds recognition for the value that global benefits bring to Kroll.

Additional Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree B.S. is required/MBA preferred
Ten (10) plus years of experience in benefits with a focus on building and managing business aligned benefit programs; preferably gained while working for a global, matrixed organization or equivalent
Strong understanding of US benefits along with experience within international benefits
Leverages analytical skills to review and assess benefits packages from acquired companies, recommend harmonization strategies, and ensure successful integration of employees Ability to utilize analytical skill set to make data driven decisions and recommendations
An energetic leader, comfortable driving a culture of continuous improvement in a fast-paced growing organization
Strong experience in design. modelling and implementation of benefits programs across multiple geographies
Proven, influential leadership and relationship building skills
Ability to collaborate with HR Business Partners, Finance, Communications, HR Shared Services and communicate in a way that is understandable to others
Demonstrated flexibility and efficient time management with the ability to prioritize workload with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
Strong focus on driving operational excellence through the development of scalable administration processes and the utilization of appropriate technology solutions.
Knowledge of integrating benefits technology solutions with various HRIS, payroll, vendors and carrier systems
Flexible and comfortable to roll-up your sleeves, used to being hands-on
Extraordinary communication skills - both oral and written
Strong coaching, mentoring, and employee development skills
