Artech LLC. Application Designer in Morristown, New Jersey
Design, develop and modify software applications. Participate in multiple phases of the project life cycle development environment including requirement gathering, software design, development and testing of computer applications. Formulate cutting edge product breakthroughs, defining architecture and product functionality. Design and customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing. Participate in discovery and analysis of client needs and document business process and systems requirements. Conduct code reviews of the enhancements being developed. Create user documents and perform end user training. Responsible for overall application design and architecture, including interfaces with other applications and systems. Provide application management services for multiple application towers, resolving production issues, working on change requests in liaison with client and business users. Analyze, design, develop, implement and enhance customized applications by modifying existing applications to meet user’s changing needs and train users in the application as necessary. Perform testing of the custom component critical functionalities to be shared with clients for review and ensure that the developed custom component is working fine without issues. Train the business users and create knowledge bases for customizations and processes in the applications. Experience must include: Tortoise SVN, Service Now, , Autosys, Splunk, TOAD, SOAP UI, WinSCP, Putty, Oracle Database, DB2, SQL Developer, Oracle TOAD, Net Express, Postman.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, Engineering (Any), or related with 5 years of progressive IT experience in job offered or as a Computer / Engineering Professional. Any suitable combination of education, training & experience is acceptable.
