Robert Half Administrative Assistant in Morristown, New Jersey

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry, located in Morristown, New Jersey. The role involves a variety of administrative tasks, including handling inbound and outbound calls, managing calendars, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. This role also entails ordering supplies, managing onboarding procedures for new hires, and maintaining accurate records of payroll and PTO requests.

Responsibilities:

• Manage heavy calendar schedules, ensuring all appointments and meetings are accurately recorded and updated

• Field incoming calls, acting as a gatekeeper to manage and direct calls appropriately

• Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen area, ensuring a pleasant and hygienic workspace for all team members

• Order supplies as necessary, managing inventory to ensure all necessary items are available

• Handle the onboarding process for new hires, including ordering laptops and other necessary equipment

• Manage payroll for both hourly workers and salaried employees, accurately tracking and recording all payment information

• Handle PTO requests, ensuring all requests are accurately recorded and processed

• Take detailed notes during meetings, ensuring all important information is accurately recorded and disseminated as necessary

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word to perform tasks and manage information

• Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly and professionally to all inquiries and requests. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word

• Experience in customer service and handling inbound and outbound calls

• Ability to perform data entry tasks with high accuracy

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Experience in managing email correspondence in a professional setting

• Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively

• Previous experience in an administrative assistant role, preferably in the healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance industries

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
