Sr. HR Services Analyst - Payroll, Benefits, and HR Data Management

Honeywell announced the spin off its Advanced Materials business into an independent, U.S. publicly traded company. This role is designed to support the spin activities, as well as ongoing support of the newly established company.

As Sr. HR Services Analyst you will play a crucial role in managing and delivering high-quality HR services related to the Spin activities for Advanced Materials. Specifically, you will be accountable for supporting the transition of the payroll administration, benefits administration, HRIS, data management, reporting, and other related HR services from Honeywell to the newly created organization. Your expertise in these areas will ensure accurate and efficient set up and processing of employee data and compliance with HR policies and legal requirements. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring a smooth transition and successful establishment of HR services for the Advanced Materials spin-off.

You will report directly to the Sr. HR Services Manager and work out of our Morris Plains, NJ location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the organization in several ways. By supporting payroll and benefits administration, you will ensure timely and accurate processing of employee compensation and benefits. Your expertise in HR data management and reporting will provide valuable insights to facilitate data governance, system requirements and testing, data transfer with 3rd parties, and other activities. Additionally, your collaboration with cross-functional teams to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency will enhance the overall employee experience and HR administration process overall.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as subject matter expert on payroll administration for employees, including Time and Attendance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and company requirements.

• Manage benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and terminations, while ensuring compliance with benefit plans and legal requirements.

• Oversee HRIS data management, including data entry, maintenance, and integrity checks.

• Generate HR reports and analytics to facilitate HR and business decision-making and strategic planning.

• Work with cross-functional teams to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.

• Facilitate the spin activities for Advanced Materials, including coordinating the setup of HR services processes and transition activities such as payroll administration, benefits administration, HRIS, data management, reporting, and other related HR services.

• Stay updated on relevant HR laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and recommend process improvements.

• Provide excellent customer service to employees by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to payroll, benefits, and HR data management.

• Develop comprehensive process documentation, SOPs, and FAQs to support sustainable operations delivery.

• Manage 3d party supplier performance and adherence to SLAs.

• During the transition process work closely with various stakeholders to gather and document the requirements for the HR systems relative to the future business and organization, partner with IT to execute data mapping and extraction protocols, validate and test system configurations, and develop the necessary training materials to assist with change management.

In October 2024, Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 3+ years of experience in payroll administration, benefits administration, and HR data management.

• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and benefit plans.

• Experience with HRIS systems, data analytics and proficiency in HRIS software.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and thoughtfulness.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

WE VALUE

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience with ADP or other payroll systems.

• Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
