Software Engineering Senior Analyst (QA Engineer)

The CRD Software Engineering Senior Analyst (QA Engineer) will serve as the QA Engineer Lead of the CRD OnePA Pharmacy Team and will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our software products by developing and executing test plans, automated test scenarios, and regression testing scenarios in order to identify defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Execution: Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing software applications
Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage
Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects through the entire development lifecycle, ensuring issues are resolved before release
Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to understand requirements, features, and implementation details and to provide feedback on usability and functionality
Continuous Improvement: Participate in the continuous improvement of the QA process, tools, and methodologies
Reporting: Generate detailed reports on test outcomes and software quality metrics to stakeholders
Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new changes do not adversely affect existing functionality
Performance Testing: Execute performance and load testing to identify potential bottlenecks and scalability issues
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Assist in coordinating and executing UAT, working with stakeholders to ensure product meets requirements and expectations
Qualifications
4-year College Degree is a plus in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field
Experience with both manual and automated testing techniques
Proficiency in QA tools and test management software (e.g., JIRA, Selenium, TestRail)
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automation
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) is a plus
Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus
Familiarity with cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments is preferred
