Job Overview:
The Certified Medical Assistant acts as a practice ambassador, contributing to overall patient experience, safety, and privacy. The program provides adults 18 years of age or older experiencing a level of crisis related to psychiatric related symptoms with psychiatric and medical services within a psychosocial milieu. The services are provided in an outpatient setting, within the community, and within a safe and respectful setting.
The CRSC is located in Morganville, NJ
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Medical Assistant Certification through NHA, NCCT, AMT, AAMA, NCMA, or NAHP
BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Scheduling Requirements:
Day Shift
Per Diem Scheduling
Essential Functions:
Performs routine clinical and clerical tasks under the direction of a physician or other health practitioner
Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs, medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, processing prescription refills, and assisting with minor procedures as directed by a physician or health practitioner
Performs other duties as requested
