Morehead State University delivers a strong and affordable education for friendly, ambitious students who thrive in a student-focused learning environment defined by small class sizes and faculty committed to teaching and student success.RESPONSIBILITIES: The Grants & Contracts Specialist (Research Integrity & Infrastructure) is responsible for maintaining and supporting the research software enterprises in the Office of Research & Sponsored Programs. The Grants & Contracts Specialist (Research Integrity & Infrastructure) interacts with faculty and staff at Morehead State University and other regional institutions that may wish to adopt research management software related to Kentucky Science & Technology Corporation’s National Science Foundation Grant. The Grants & Contracts Specialist (Research Integrity & Infrastructure) serves as a liaison between Morehead State University’s Office of Research & Sponsored Programs, Kentucky Science & Technology Corporation, and regional comprehensive universities in Kentucky to ensure seamless integration of research enterprise software solutions.REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree and a minimum of two years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree with four years of experience in grants and contracts development, administration or related activities involving state, Federal, or private agencies. Minimum of two years of experience in database management. Excellent interpersonal, writing, editing, and time management skills. Excellent computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and database management. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in implementing research enterprise software solutions. Demonstrated experience in developing and directing training workshops in the area of software implementation and maintenance.SPONSORSHIP: This position is not budgeted for Visa Sponsorship.
