Responsible for maintenance and repairs according to equipment breakdown calls during on-duty shift; responding to downtime calls, troubleshooting and timely repairs of equipment.; diagnosing and testing the performance of electrical components and spare parts and making recommendations for improvement; preparing specifications for the purchase of spare parts inventory; analyzing insufficient spare parts in warehouse; completing and submitting purchase requests to ensure availability of essential spare parts; analyzing spare parts usage and making recommendations for min/max adjustments; performing issue analysis and resolving according to work orders/maintenance request. Responsible for improvement or modifying process, tracking and analyzing project progress to ensure timely completion; performing routine equipment inspection, identifying potential failure risks and taking action to prevent downtime; analyzing the service cycle of equipment; analyzing associated cost of repair and assisting with spare parts purchase considering lead time. Knowledgeable with equipment mechanisms, structure and functions; master knowledge and methods of equipment routine inspection, reactive and preventive maintenance and lubrication. Responsible for records such as equipment sudden breakdown maintenance record and maintenance work daily log; tracking KPI performance of equipment and staff; collecting KPI data and creating reports for equipment availability rate and downtime; assisting with data analysis to formulate an action plan for improvement; equipment preventive maintenance and lubrication; reducing equipment downtime and quantity of scrapped product due to equipment issue for responsible area; performing statistical analysis of downtime issues and formulate PM plans to reduce frequency of breakdowns. Requires Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
