Job Title: DC Systems Administrator I

Reports to: Sr. Manager, IT Operations DC

Location: Mooresville, IN DC

The Role

Position purpose/Summary Statement includes, but not limited to; DC Support, position will be responsible for the IT operational support for the distribution centers in Mooresville Indiana. This person must be a self-starter, goal oriented, and able to work independently. The position requires on-call support to respond to operational needs for the DC. Due to the nature of 24x7 operations and shipping, response needs to be timely for DC support. This position will help coordinate helpdesk requests for the DC that will encompass account management, hardware support (networking, servers, printers, mobile devices), and troubleshooting. This position will also require system documentation, hardware inventory and uphold IT policies and procedures in the DC's. With this, you will also understand how to work under safety guidelines that will keep you safe. This comprehension entails being able to take daily direction from your leadership team with an understanding of how your role impacts other departments within the warehouse. Understand what your daily goals and objectives are, learning to become/transition to advance from within.

System Administrators Organizational Relationships: Develop and maintain productive, effective, and professional relationships with peers, superiors, and others. Your Impact Network support- Active Directory, VMWare, Exchange, user account management, Oracle Apps, High Jump warehouse management system.

Desktop/Laptop and Printer support- HP printers, Zebra printers, Dell desktop/laptops, Toledo Scales, Symbol wedge scanners, VOIP phone system, Spyware and virus removal, Desktop imaging. RF and WIFI support- Manage and support Zebra RF's as well as the WIFI infrastructure that they run on. Cisco Wireless Lan Controller and AP's

Asset tracking and inventory. Document policy and procedure. Time management General housekeeping of department and maintains a clean and sanitary work environment. Crosstraining in other functions/departments as neeeded

Who You Are

  • Excellent knowledge of Windows Active directory, permissions, groups, administration
  • Knowledge of virtualization platforms - servers (VMware, Microsoft) and desktops
  • Solid understanding of Ethernet and TCP/IP, routing, DNS, VLAN's, etc.
  • Ability to work under pressure in very demanding environment.

We'd love to hear from people with

  • A minimum of 5 years of strong IT background in network, server, and desktop support.
  • College courses completed and IT certifications preferred, but not required.

$28-30/hr

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Mooresville, IN location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
