BCI has an immediate opening for a full-time Director of Product to support BCI Corporate operations with activities across all Divisions. Relocation is not available for this position.Job Location: Moorestown, NJTelework: Not available with this positionJob Start Date: within two weeks of hiringShift: Days 0800-1600, M-FExperience Required:Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required; Master's Degree is preferred8+ years' product experienceDescription of Duties:The Director of Product will undertake a variety of activities which include, but are not limited to, activities typically in the context of defining and executing a product strategy including financial/commercial parameters and ensuring timely product delivery. The role will have significant autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment as the successful applicant will be managing new technology products being developed for military, government, and commercial applications. Specifically,Impact approaches, projects, and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of workingImpact quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own teamProvide significant input into prioritiesResponsible for all activities related to the supervision, organization and execution of a Product Strategy, including scope, time, cost, and quality managementDefine and drive execution of product roadmap to fulfill customer use case and ensuring customer satisfactionMaintain awareness of latest technical developments in own areaContributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibilityUse technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendationsUse multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisionsThe successful candidate must:Be capable of adapting to new businesses in a fast-paced environmentUse judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineeringExplains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensusPossess persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within fieldHave in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with othersPossess a working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the marketTravel Requirement: Required up to approximately 15 days per yearSecurity Clearance Requirements: Applicants must be US citizens.
