BFOQ Must be at least 18 years of age due to Child Labor laws. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Position opening for a wastewater treatment plant employee to work at our Moorefield location. Third shift (8:30pm - 5am) Assisting with operation and maintenance of the wastewater plant facilities and equipment. Performing sample collection and assisting with sample analyses. Performs on-site analyses for dissolved oxygen, pH, temperature, chlorine. Maintains all log books including sampling, maintenance, sludge loading rates, process control monitoring (flow charts, DO pH, temperature, and chlorine checks), lab equipment/maintenance supply log. Maintains chemical supply inventories. Cleans wastewater treatment plant facilities and wastewater pits. Notifies supervisor of areas with potential problems. Other duties required by the Supervisor. Must have a good attendance. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Must be willing to pursue obtaining Class I and Class II Wastewater Treatment Works Operator’s Certification (State of WV, Dept. of Health) Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds. Must have High School diploma or G.E.D. Must have above average math skills. Must be willing to work all shifts if asked, (1st, 2nd & 3rd). Must have valid drivers license. Will be asked to help with grounds work as required. Premium Pay: $1.25 per hour.
