JOB SUMMARY

The IT Business Solutions team will partner with and support TTI Floorcare business unit and functional areas with end-to-end process improvement capabilities. The Business Solutions team will work with the company’s business units & functional areas to assist in their efforts to identify operational improvements, prioritize demand and introduce innovative solutions which increase business performance & profitability. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with skills specific to Oracle ERP and ASCP environments in identifying, measuring, and implementing solutions for high visibility projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES / SKILLS

  • Acts as the subject matter expert for the warehousing applications by providing guidance to business and development teams.

  • Provides efficient delivery of root cause analysis, current / future state process development and implementation of project solutions that yield tangible results for TTI Floorcare business partners.

  • Prioritizes multiple projects and focuses effort on those that provide the best ROI / benefit to business partners.

  • Responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual target performance levels as measured by the monthly prioritization process.

  • Conducts JAD (joint application development) sessions with business and technology partners resulting in mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Creation, active management, reporting of metrics and associated business benefit outcomes for assigned projects.

  • Maps current state processes, identifies business pain points and implements countermeasures to eliminate inefficiencies.

  • Identifies waste and independently offers to help business partners resulting streamlined processes and improved productivity.

  • Develops robust work instructions that can be transferred throughout the organization seamlessly.

  • Acts as a change agent, leading efforts to achieve organizational acceptance of new ways of doing things.

  • Collects and analyzes various data sets resulting in fact-based decision making and recommendations to business partners.

  • Responsible for tactical execution of process improvement projects for the Business Solutions function.

  • Acts as a liaison between business users and technical support.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Interpersonal Skills – ability to quickly establish rapport and credibility with IT project team members and key business contacts.

  • Communication Skills – ability to effectively exchange ideas and information with project participants and clearly present issues, findings, recommendations, strategies, and results both orally and in writing to all levels of the organization, and especially to executive levels.

  • Business Analysis – ability to apply Lean and Six Sigma and process improvement principles, techniques to a wide variety of business unit and functional operating environments to achieve tangible outcomes.

  • Benefit Realization - ability to directly translate business optimization investments, and subsequent outcomes, into measurable P&L benefit.

  • Project Management, execution, and delivery skills – successful and timely completion of projects of moderate to large scale complexity through proven project managements tools and techniques.

  • Technical Skills – demonstrates knowledge and expertise with software tools and an ability to evaluate new tools for fit and application to solve evolving business requirements. Specific ability with Oracle EBS and SQL Developer preferred.

  • Business Knowledge – awareness of business, particularly in the assigned area of responsibility.

  • Decision Making Skills – under general guidance, ability to make effective decisions which are derived by evaluating various alternatives against business and technology requirements.

  • Analytical Skills – ability to analyze and effectively integrate complex information on business and technology issues and requirements into viable solutions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business management or related discipline

  • Systems / Application / Business Analysis experience

  • Must be able to interface with business areas and effectively identify gather requirements.

  • Ability to perform as an integral part of a team.

  • Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Strong knowledge in SDLC and Agile / Waterfall methodologies

  • 2-5 years of experience designing and creating meaningful business information

  • 2-5 years of experience working in operations, manufacturing or warehousing Oracle applications as an Analyst or SME

  • Project management – proficient & experienced in all phases of the PMLC and associated project plan components.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to travel up to 10%. It is anticipated this position will travel 0-10%

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
