Eaton Corporation Global Product Manager, Solid State Circuit Breaker in Moon Township, Pennsylvania
Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Global Product Manager, Solid State Circuit Breaker for its Solid State Circuit Breaker product line. This role preferably will be located at our facility in Moon Township, PA (relocation provided to those residing in the US outside a 50 mile radius) or has the option to be a US remote based position with travel to Moon Township, PA. Preference will be given to those residing in the Eastern part of the U.S.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $120075.03 - $176110.04 a year.

The Global Product Manager provides leadership in formulation and implementation of global product line strategy, marketing plans and growth programs, and new product development / customer value propositions to enhance sales and profitability growth for solid state circuit breakers. The product manager leads all aspects of VOC (voice of customer), administering the process and implementing collection for the product line. This role drives and completes all marketing activities and documents required for Pro-Launch New Product Development projects. It also is involved in business development with the extended product line and engineering team.
The Global Product Manager works closely with global engineering teams to drive customer solutions and innovation. The product manager will have an excellent knowledge of the product line’s customers and core and emerging vertical market segments and a thorough understanding of the dynamics of selling new and emerging technologies.
What you’ll do:
For innovation and new product development, own, lead and execute the VOC process and collection into the product line. Transform inputs into new product development ideas and projects. Execute all marketing responsibilities, documents required in new product development projects. Provide Product Roadmap input and drive key global alignment
Execute all product launches, working closely with marketing communications, engineering, sales and product line teams.
Develop, update and implement the Marketing plan (annual). Create required product line sales tools, collateral and communications. Lead product line’s participation in division wide marketing programs.
Work with the Product Line Managers in strategic planning and the development of the product line strategic plan.
Perform competitive analysis and development product competitive comparisons as needed. Maintain a pulse on the competition
Actively support a working knowledge of solid state technologies and trends related to iterations, new development and manufacturing and sourcing options.
Maintain a product portfolio / roadmap taking into account the various segment and regional applications of solid state technology.
Participate in Codes and Standards activities to enable adoption of new technologies across listing agencies.
Provide market updates and analysis and market intelligence to business leaders
Create and update presentations and spreadsheets as needed
Provide product training and develop training materials for customers, Eaton sales personnel and Eaton channel partners.
Travel as required in position to get VOC data and to perform essential functions.
Drive efficiency and cost out opportunities
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
Seven (7)+ years’ experience in marketing, sales, or engineering
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, business or marketing degree. MBA also a plus.
Experience with wireless and rf communication protocols: Z-Wave, Zigbee, Bluetooth Low Energy and Wi-Fi
Demonstrated ability to develop, launch & market software solutions.
Two (2) years’ experience with breaker products, load centers and connected products

Product application knowledge, good business acumen, and the ability to develop and execute tactical and strategic plans to support the product line's goals.
Willingness and ability to provide a leadership role within the department and motivate peers and team members.
Strong working knowledge of e-Tools, Bid Tools, Mentor, Sales Reporting / SMART, VISTA.
