CAE USA INC Senior Financial Analyst in Montreal (St. Laurent), Canada

About This Role

We are looking for someone based in our headquarters in Montreal who will act as a Finance Business Partner to support management of various needs including:

  • Prepare analysis and reports for management to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.

  • Participate in the budget process On a monthly basis, produce variance analysis, financial forecasts, as well as analysis for any potential risks and opportunities fo

  • Present the budget, gap analysis and forecasts to the executive team

  • Prepare journal entries and provide accurate analyses when requested

  • Provide financial support to various stakeholders within the company

Qualifications:

  • Accounting title or applicant to the profession, an asset

  • 8 to 12 years experience in financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing / operational environment

  • Experience in budgeting, gap analysis, monthly forecasting

  • Excellent analytical, technical, and organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and as part of a team

  • Ability to effectively communicate with upper management and colleagues across the company.

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision while respecting deadlines.

  • Responsible for preparing journal entries and providing accurate analysis as requested.

  • Provide financial support to different departments of the company

  • Good communication skills at all hierarchical levels.

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and macros, and financial models

  • Customer-oriented

  • Bilingual
