Wieland is hiring a Plant Protection Supervisor. The Plant Protection Supervisor will be responsible for managing third-party security resources to protect plant property and human capital.. This role is located in Montpelier, Ohio and will be fully on-site. Responsibilities Plant Protection Supervisor Responsibilities: Establishes, coordinates, and implements security protocol for employees, vendors, visitors and outside contractors entering and leaving Wieland Chase facilities. Controls security access to Wieland Chase facilities for employees, vendors, contactors, and visitors. Responsible for development, implementation and auditing of Workplace Violence Procedures and security related policies for Wieland Chase operations. Responsible for controlling truck traffic, weighing of all incoming and outgoing loads, working with shipping, and receiving to route trucks to appropriate docks. Works with third party resource to manage and maintain plant emergency alarm system. Plant Protection Supervisor Competencies and Qualifications: Understanding of known hazards within heavy manufacturing facilities. Incident investigation skills. Experience in crisis management within a manufacturing environment. Good working relationship with third party vendors and local public safety organizations.
