Carrier is seeking an highly motivated business leader with a proven record of performance, who is ready to apply their skills to this new role focussed on the rapid growth vertical of Data Centres. The role will be responsible for project management office for delivering operational excellence to this strategic market. Responsibility extends from ensuring consistent first class field execution across EMEA and aligning the organisation to support this effective delivery. Developing, leading and providing a clear and standard approach for the life cycle of delivery to customers..
The candidate should have strong customer, operational and process experience in a fast pace and demanding environment. The role will work closely across the organization to support the related global strategic initiatives and build a clear prioritised roadmap for EMEA. The major tasks, duties, and responsibilities of the role are detailed below:
Role Responsibilities:
Responsible for the delivery of Data Centre commissioning and service delivery across EMEA (fuller aftermarket life cycle ownership_
Ensure seamless transition from the installation, warranty and service delivery
Build a standard playbook and infrastructure to ensure our DC customer receive a consistent and best in class experience
Create clear visibility to track and measure performance (operational and financial) for the Data Centre customer base across EMEA
Build a culture of continuous improvement driven by performance and customer feedback to ensure a delivery differentiates Carrier from competition and creates a competitive advantage to fuel future growth with existing and new customers.
Role Purpose:
Provide direction and co-ordination across EMEA operations to ensure the first class delivery to our DC customers, to support further and future growth.
Provide a network and CoE for knowledge sharing and best in class processes tailored to the DC vertical
Ensure KPI's and measures are closely tracked and managed to ensure all key deliverables a met and risks well mitigated through proactive planning
The role will provide a critical link in translating customer expectations and needs into clear and tangible actions for the wider business to delivery
The successful candidate will hold ownership of the Data Centre Aftermarket and will provide strategic leadership across EMEA and establish a strong infrastructure and network to meet the key objectives in all markets
The role will balance time in local markets with teams and customers, with the need to support the progress of key initiatives to support the delivery teams I their executions through improvement internal performance and alignment.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience of working with Data Centre Customer (either through service or installation) is preferable.
Demonstrated a background of successfully delivering projects and delighting customers is critical
Proven ability to build structured approaches for repeatable and consistent delivery
Highly customer focused and responsive
Ability to travel across EMEA as needed (will vary but estimated at 2 in 4 weeks)
