Responsibilities
Work on engines and motors for triaxel dumps, trucks, tractors, busses, emergency vehicles
Diagnostic testing: Using diagnostic tools to identify problems with the engine and other systems
Analyzing test results: Interpreting the results of diagnostic tests to determine a repair plan
Repairing or replacing parts: Replacing faulty parts or entire systems, such as the engine, transmission, steering, braking, or lighting systems
Performing maintenance: Carrying out preventative maintenance on service trucks and other vehicles to keep them in good working order
Test driving: Evaluating the performance of vehicles after repairs
Maintaining records: Keeping detailed records of serviced vehicles, including paperwork that communicates the vehicle's status to other service personnel
Maintaining inventory: Keeping track of parts inventory
Cleaning: Keeping the shop and equipment clean and organized
The essential functions of this role include:
manual lifting up to 50lbs
