Gould Farm Clinical Social Worker in Monterey, Massachusetts

We are looking for a dynamic practitioner with a passion for recovery and an unwavering belief in people\'s ability to heal to join our cohesive and dedicated clinical team at Gould Farm as a licensed clinical Social Worker. Our program integrates psychiatric rehabilitation and trauma-informed clinical therapy within an open setting. In addition, if you have experience with co-occurring mental health and substance use and a strong understanding of how addictions and mental health challenges impact recovery and well-being, then we hope you will consider joining us. Supervised by the Clinical Director, and working as part of a multidisciplinary collaborative team, the Social Worker will work with program participants to provide a continuum of coaching, counseling, and traditional therapy as well as care coordination. The Social Worker develops person-centered service plans and documents treatment activities that support Gould Farm\'s recovery model and guest treatment. Must be willing to promote the values and spirit of Gould Farm, and to actively participate as a member of the community. Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Work with approximately 8 program participants providing a continuum of coaching, counseling, and traditional therapy with a focus on those with co-occurring mental health and substance use issues who would benefit from integrative co-occurring treatment support; - Work with program participants to develop person-centered, strengths-based service plans in support of recovery goals, maintain accurate records, ongoing progress reports, and discharge summaries to depict a narrative of guest activities, abilities, and development in the program; - Lead and facilitate groups for guests including skills groups, recovery and wellness-oriented groups; - Work as a member of the Clinical Team in conjunction with the attending psychiatrist to ensure continuity of treatment for individuals in the program; - Work closely with the families of program participants to ensure all voices are included in a network of care; - Serve as weekly liaison to Work Team Leaders and Residential staff in support of the clinical aspects of their work; - Participate in training and team meetings including weekly staff meetings, Clinical Team meetings, and Doctors meetings; - Massachusetts Medication Administration training will be provided to enable coverage in our Nursing office when needed to administer medication; - Be available to intervene and respond to crises; - Clinical vacation coverage as required; - Part of an on-call rotation with the other clinicians, providing night and weekend coverage; - Actively participate in cultivating a nurturing community culture by participating in recreational and holiday activities; Qualifications: Master\'s Degree in Social Work or Counseling. LiCSW or equivalent licensure (or eligibility) required. Co-occurring certification and/or Substance Use Treatment Certification preferred. 3-5 years experience working with people coping with major mental health challenges and co-occurring substance use is preferred. Knowledge and experience in medication dispensing. Compensation: Salary range starts at \$58,750 annually, with a great benefits package including medical/dental insurance (employer pays 85% of premiums and up to 100% of deductible), life insurance, generous Paid Time Off (PTO includes 5 weeks of vacation and holidays the first two years and 6 weeks thereafter), generous sick time accrual, 401K, low-cost on-campus housing including utilities available, generous food benefit including prepared meals 3X a day and access to basic pantry items and Farm made products.
