Valley Tractor Repair Tractor/Heavy Equipment Mechanic in Monte Vista, Colorado
JOB TITLE: Tractor/Heavy Equipment Mechanic
MUSTS: Must be able to pass background check, initial and random drug testing. MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS, Must have valid driver's license and good driving record, be at least 18 years of age, have a minimum of a GED, and be mechanically inclined with some basic mechanical knowledge. Must be reliable. Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job to include, but not limited to; standing, crawling, stooping, bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, crouching, reaching, twisting, eye hand coordination, manual dexterity.
SKILLS: Good communication skills, dependable, mechanical experience with tractors is preferred, but not required. Mechanical aptitude.
DUTIES: Will work on, maintain, and repair tractor equipment and implements, and other similar heavy equipment. Assist in keeping work areas and tools organized and area clean. Work will be done indoors and may be done outdoors. Normal exposure to hazards associated with the job include; chemicals, power equipment and tools, etc.
WAGES: $20.00 per hour to start, depending on experience and skills and tools. Paid twice monthly.

DURATION & SHIFT: This is a full-time, permanent position of approximately 40 hours per week. Will generally work Monday through Friday from 8:30a.m. to 5:30p.m.
