EMPLOYER NAME:Sitetracker, Inc.POSITION LOCATION:Montclair, NJPOSITION AVAILABLE:Software Development Engineer in Test IIMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related position.DESCRIPTION: Work alongside a team to raise the QA (quality assurance) bar and create the best possible product, service, and experience for the company’s customers. Work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to implement QA processes and procedures that will enable proper verification of customer requirements. Enforce process control points and maintain metrics to enable data-driven decisions around quality. Improve the rigor and ensure the standardization of QA processes and consistency across the Engineering team. Work with a Scrum team to coordinate and execute QA activities. Provide test guidance, test process support, and training. Participate in the Agile and CI (continuous integration) development lifecycle process, ensuring that accurate effort estimates are submitted, release deadlines are met, and proper QA alignment is achieved. Play an integral role in manual testing by understanding the customer requirements, identifying the test scenarios that will ensure the quality of the product. Create, document, execute, and maintain detailed test cases to perform functional unit, integration, and regression testing for each ticket in scope. Partner with the Automation team at the automation testing phase to identify and prioritize the automation scope for the Scrum team and ensure that they will understand the feature or process to be automated. Ensure that all test variations (positive and negative) are covered for each feature, assist with data identification, review test results, and address feature-related defects and bugs during automated testing execution. SKILLS REQUIRED:•2 years of experience planning, prepping, and executing testing activities in an Agile environment.•2 years of experience creating, maintaining, and executing test cases for complex B2B software.•2 years of experience triaging Production Support issues submitted by external customers.•2 years of experience planning and executing performance testing for applications using the Salesforce platform.•2 years of experience with test automation using Webdriver.io or Javascript.•2 years of experience using Jira or TestRail to support test execution and the defect management process.•Telecommuting from anywhere in the United States is allowed.CONTACT: Please send resume to Sitetracker, Inc. at hsafaei@sitetracker.com.
