Job Description:
GDIT is in need of a Web Developer to support our EMITS program supplying Mission Command Support for U.S. Army Europe.
The software developer will provide comprehensive development, data science, machine learning, and engineering services
HOW A WEB DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Maintains and configures COTS (Commercial off the Shelf) business applications and in-house developed solutions
Consults and collaborates with business leaders, end user, IT staff, vendors, and other third parties and is involved in every phase of application development lifecycle.
Collaborates with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications
Designs creative prototypes according to specifications
Writes high quality source code to program complete applications within schedule deadlines
Tests code and conducts functional and non-functional testing
Recommends coding fixes to resolve outstanding issues and work to enhance applications to automate business process as best possible
Review and analyse software defects
Troubleshoot/debug/identify malfunctioning systems and implement software fixes
Performs other duties as directed
Strong problem solving skills required
Strong customer service and communications skills (written and verbal) are a must

Security Clearance Required: Secret Level Security Clearance
Experience: 8+ Years
Education: Bachelors Degree
Skills: Creating custom branding and responsive design creation for SharePoint 2013/2016 platforms; Experience creating custom Master pages, layout pages, themes and color/font schemas for SharePoint 2013/2016; Experienced in developing SharePoint 2013/2016 sites/apps using SharePoint Client-Side Object Model (CSOM), Microsoft SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSS3, AngularJS, REST services, and Bootstrap for responsive User Interface design within the architecture and guidelines set up by the existing team; Experience with and knowledge of implementing custom solutions for SharePoint, including workflows, Web parts, event receivers, APIs, Web services, application pages, master pages, and list definitions; Experience working with product owners and the SharePoint team lead to determine new features and user stories needed in new/revised applications and development programs; SharePoint 2013 and 2016 experience
Certification: DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification and ITIL V4 Foundation within six months of hire.

The likely salary range for this position is $101,566 - $132,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
