Job Description :
GENERAL OVERVIEW:
Assist members of the Emergency Department team and ancillary staff in the care of critically ill and injured patients.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participates in clinical assessment and care planning. (30%)
Participates in the provision of safe and effective care for the age population served according to regulatory requirements. (40%)
Participates with the multidisciplinary team, including EMS, for the plan of care from presentation through disposition. (15%)
Serves as a departmental liaison for EMS, both air and ground. (15%)
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum
PA Paramedic Certification
2 years field experience
