Job Description :

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Assist members of the Emergency Department team and ancillary staff in the care of critically ill and injured patients.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participates in clinical assessment and care planning. (30%)

  • Participates in the provision of safe and effective care for the age population served according to regulatory requirements. (40%)

  • Participates with the multidisciplinary team, including EMS, for the plan of care from presentation through disposition. (15%)

  • Serves as a departmental liaison for EMS, both air and ground. (15%)

  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

  • PA Paramedic Certification

  • 2 years field experience
