Deceuninck North America, LLC Quality Systems Engineer in Monroe, Ohio

Deceuninck is seeking a Quality Management System Engineer at it's Monroe facility.  In this role you must have a broad understanding of quality principles and be able to develop and maintain the (QMS).

 

Core Responsibilities:

 

  • Provides Quality leadership / guidance on all QMS matters as it pertains to product compliance.
  • Ensure effective Implementation of Quality management systems.
  • Manage & use of SAP system for quality master data and be a key user.
  • The Lead Implementer oversees the ISO compliant project of an organization.
  • Establishing an organization's internal audit program and management reviews.
  • They ensure that an organization's compliance with ISO 9001 is well-understood.
  • Responsible for managing, designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining an ISO 9001 compliant system.
  • Oversee and enter all information into ISO compliant computer database.
  • Oversee the calibration database adding new equipment, deleting broken pieces.
  • Works with purchasing in selecting and auditing vendors or subcontractors.
  • Maintain approved suppliers list and all related supplier documentation.
  • Manages and supports internal and supplier PPAP process.

     

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience implementing an ISO compliant system and experience in an ISO certified organization.
  • 3-5 years of experience successfully managing quality improvement projects.
  • Lead ISO auditor certification required.
  • Proficient ability to lead Kaizen events and conduct value stream mapping.
  • Experience in manufacturing plant; plastic extrusions highly desired.
  • Proficient knowledge of Six Sigma and standardized lean techniques and concepts (Green Belt Required (or be willing to get certified), Black Belt Preferred).
  • Must be able to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Must have excellent Communication, Presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Previous experience writing effective SOPs.
  • Proficient in MS programs, particularly Excel and PPT, smartsheet (plus).
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems a plus.
  • Experience with analysis and interpretation of data gathered from Manufacturing execution systems (MES)-Desired.
  • Statistical analysis experience (Minitab).

     

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or similar
