Deceuninck North America is seeking a Product Supply Manager for its North American Headquarters. The ideal candidate will have progressive career experiences in Warehouse Management, Inventory Control, and Logistics Management. The Product Supply Manager for the Monroe Supermarket will ensure an efficient execution of the Hall 5 Receiving Docks, The Stores and Tool inventory supply locations, Tooling Maintenance and the Production Supply system. * This position will work closely with Purchasing, Vendors, Quality, Production, Tooling, Finance and Supply Chain to optimize solutions. [Core Responsibilities:]{.underline}
- Leverage Lean Logistics techniques and logistics technology to assure that products, equipment, system manufacturing, or services are being distributed in a way that is most efficient and profitable. Ensure sufficient and efficient supply of materials to support plant operations.
- Determine logistics or support requirements, such as facility details, staffing needs, and safety or maintenance plans.
- Design and analyze the logistics processes and operational solutions used in distributing those goods and services; identifies and evaluates the effectiveness of all aspects of methods of distribution.
- Develop inventory management system and inventory cycle count process to ensure accuracy of records and optimization of the processes.
- Support forecasting activities with the Supply Chain and Scheduling team.
- Implement performance metrics and associated KPIs; actively manage departmental budget.
- Lead daily control meetings, identifying issues and actions to be taken. Advises management team on logistics topics and proposes logistics solutions. Lead departmental initiatives on safety compliance, ongoing training, and continuous improvement.
- Assesses the environmental impact or energy efficiency of logistics activities and implements logistics methods to reduce environmental impact. Analyzes environmental regulations and determines requirements to ensure organizational compliance.
- Schedule and track material movement to minimize cost while meeting internal customer delivery and communication requirements.
- Reasonable related duties assigned by Supervisor.
[Qualifications:]{.underline}
- 5+ years of industry-related experience required, including a minimum of three years in warehouse and inventory management
- Practiced Lean logistics methodology and systems (Kan ban, Kaizen, Flow etc.). Lean 6-Sigma Certification, is a differentiator.
- Knowledge of plant supermarket operations, including design and structure, inventory control, and customer service
- Advanced understanding of supply chain and inventory management.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; Strong mathematical abilities, high attention to detail and advanced problem-solving skills; Good financial management skills and business acumen.
- Experience leading teams to optimized performance leveraging service-based leadership techniques.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office (especially Excel), SAP and WMS.
- Knowledge of imports/exports and DOT requirements.
- Experience with SAP MRP systems, desired.
