Responsibilities
This position is accountable for the Leading strategic long term and daily warehousing activities.
This position ensures that operations meet and/or exceed daily performance expectations.
The Warehouse Supervisor works collaboratively with the Leadership team and Plant Manager.
Essential Duties & Performance
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance
Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
Communicate job expectations and coach employees
Determine staffing levels and assign workload
Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status
Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
Confer and coordinate activities with other departments
Mentorship through succession planning
Qualifications

Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor
Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
Strong organizational and time management skills
Education and/or Experience
High school graduate or GED equivalent
BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration, preferred
5+years of Warehouse Supervision experience
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, correspondence & memos
Ability to write detailed correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in a one-on one, small, or large group situations
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense and sound judgement when dealing with problems
Ability to resolve problems successfully
Ability to carry out detailed written and/or oral instructions

Work Environment
While performing the job duties, the employee will work in a Production floor environment.
The Production floor has a low to moderate noise level.
