Maintenance Technician

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Multi Craft Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment runs smoothly.
Diagnose technical issues, troubleshoot equipment, and implement repair plans.
Replace and install parts and components as needed.
Assemble, install, and maintain various machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to company procedures, rules, and regulations.
Order and manage supplies, parts, tools, and materials necessary for repairs and maintenance work.
Document all maintenance and repair work done, including the cost of materials and time taken.
Communicate regularly with management and colleagues about preventive maintenance and repair works done.
Adhere to all safety standards and procedures, ensuring compliance with OSHA rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician.
Strong knowledge of machinery and equipment.
Ability to read and understand technical manuals and blueprints.
Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
Strong health and safety awareness.
High school diploma or equivalent; certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a definite plus.
Work Environment:
Metal manufacturing environment.
