Maintenance Technician

$31-41 / HR | Monroe, NC

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Multi Craft Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.

  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment runs smoothly.

  • Diagnose technical issues, troubleshoot equipment, and implement repair plans.

  • Replace and install parts and components as needed.

  • Assemble, install, and maintain various machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings.

  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to company procedures, rules, and regulations.

  • Order and manage supplies, parts, tools, and materials necessary for repairs and maintenance work.

  • Document all maintenance and repair work done, including the cost of materials and time taken.

  • Communicate regularly with management and colleagues about preventive maintenance and repair works done.

  • Adhere to all safety standards and procedures, ensuring compliance with OSHA rules and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician.

  • Strong knowledge of machinery and equipment.

  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and blueprints.

  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.

  • Strong health and safety awareness.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a definite plus.

Work Environment:

  • Metal manufacturing environment.

  • 3rd shift opportunity.
