Maintenance Technician
$28-35 / HR | Monroe, NC
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on industrial equipment and machinery.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Repair and replace defective parts, components, and systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
Work Environment:
Automotive manufacturing environment.
2nd & 3rd shift available.
Cleanly and well maintained facility.
Non climate controlled.
