Amergis is hiring Bilingual Teacher Assistants for schools in Berkeley County, SC.

  • Remainder of '24-'25 SY Contract

  • Associates Degree or a minimum score of 456 on the paraprofessional exam

  • Must be able to fluently speak, write, and read Spanish and English

  • Full-time in-person, M-F 37.5 hrs

  • Very competitive weekly Pay

Job Responsibilities:

• Appropriately assist the classroom teacher with communicating with multilingual learner students to facilitate the instructional process;

• Tutor individuals or small groups of multilingual learner students as directed and supervised by the teacher;

• Reinforce instruction or follow-up on multilingual learner students' understanding of specific academic concepts;

• Assist multilingual learner students by providing emotional support, a friendly attitude, and general guidance with classroom and school-level routines and procedures.
