Job Description: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Overview: We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician with expertise in operating and maintaining metal expanders/stampers. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the continuous operation and efficiency of our industrial machinery, particularly focusing on metal expansion processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with specific experience in troubleshooting and repairing metal expanders used in manufacturing settings.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on metal expander equipment to ensure optimal functionality and uptime.
Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on metal expanders and associated machinery, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components.
Calibrate and adjust equipment settings to achieve specified tolerances and production requirements.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and address equipment performance issues and implement improvements.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and equipment condition.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Train and mentor junior technicians on metal expander operations and maintenance best practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician with a focus on metal expander equipment.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical controls relevant to metal expander operations.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions efficiently.
Experience in performing preventive maintenance tasks and maintaining detailed maintenance logs.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Flexibility to work non-standard hours and respond to equipment emergencies as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in mechanical or electrical fields preferred.
Pay Details: $30.00 to $38.00 per hour
