Job Description: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician with expertise in operating and maintaining metal expanders/stampers. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the continuous operation and efficiency of our industrial machinery, particularly focusing on metal expansion processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with specific experience in troubleshooting and repairing metal expanders used in manufacturing settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on metal expander equipment to ensure optimal functionality and uptime.

  • Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on metal expanders and associated machinery, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components.

  • Calibrate and adjust equipment settings to achieve specified tolerances and production requirements.

  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and address equipment performance issues and implement improvements.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and equipment condition.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

  • Train and mentor junior technicians on metal expander operations and maintenance best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician with a focus on metal expander equipment.

  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical controls relevant to metal expander operations.

  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions efficiently.

  • Experience in performing preventive maintenance tasks and maintaining detailed maintenance logs.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours and respond to equipment emergencies as needed.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in mechanical or electrical fields preferred.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $38.00 per hour
