Based in our Shared Service Center at Mohali,,the person in this position is responsible for day to day Finance & Accounting activities, Audits, Legal & Statutory Compliances. The ideal candidate should be a Finance Professional who has excellent skills & knowledge and is eager to get things done. Key to the position is the ability to collaborate within organization as well as with external agencies whenever required.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Handling daily accounting of purchases invoices

  • Keep the track of all the expenses that need to be back charged.

  • Employee claims verification

  • Support month close activities which mainly include Fixed Assets module closing, monthly provision entries

  • Assist in providing SEZ related information

  • Legal & Statutory Compliances which mainly include compliances under SEZ, Income Tax, GST etc.

  • Create monthly cashflows and also planned budget vs Actuals.

  • Create POs for services as applicable. (TBD)

  • Audits data preparation

  • Handling bank reconciliation and keep the records up to date.

  • Dealing with External Agencies, custom officers whenever required

  • Record retention for Finance at Mohali

WHO YOU ARE

You will readily take action on challenges, without unnecessary planning. You will effectively handle risk. Balance the interests of multiple stakeholders and consider cultural and ethical factors in the decision-making process and act fairly despite conflicting demands of stakeholders.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounts or related field

  • 5-6 years of Demonstrable experience in Finance & Accounting function with a focus on Compliances, Audits, routine accounting activities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven knowledge of Oracle or any other ERP such as SAP

  • In-depth understanding of compliances under SEZ, Income Tax & GST
