KBR is seeking an Intern to support the AdaStress research project that centers on developing AI algorithms to discover and analyze rare high-impact failures in autonomous systems. A learning-based framework enables efficient statistical analysis of failure modes beyond the capabilities of traditional testing; this approach supplements existing V&V methods. The AdaStress project is seeking an intern for:
Fundamental research in ML and applied statistics for autonomy
Application of research to existing autonomous systems
Development of high-performance tools to implement research
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
1 year experience in background in machine learning
Programming experience
Other Desired Skills:
Knowledge of statistics
Experience with simulation
Basic Compensation:
$20.50/hr - $27.50/hr
This range is for the California area only
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
