MMI Hospitality Group Food Service Manager in Mobile, Alabama
MMI Dining has an opening for a Food Service Manager at St. Paul’s Episcopal School. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys ensuring that K12 students have a fun environment to enjoy great food! The Food Service Manager is responsible for all aspects of the operation to include menu planning, food production, special events and maintaining excellent client relations.
If hospitality is in your DNA and you have culinary experience as a chef, or have worked as a manager, general manager, or director in the food service industry, this could be the job for you!
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and leadership skills, will initiate action, and drive the creative process. The ability to develop talent and a history of strong financial and business acumen is highly preferred. Experience with purchasing, food production, and P & L management is required, and previous experience with contract-managed food service is desirable. Must be able to manage a team that functions in a friendly and efficient manner, and you must have a passion for consistently providing a high level of service. The ideal candidate will have proficient computer skills to include; various computer programs, Microsoft Office programs, e-mail and the Internet and will be ServSafe® Certified.
