CSL Group Ltd. Winter Foreperson - Commercial Snow Removal in Mississauga, Ontario

Job Title: Winter Foreperson - Commercial Snow Removal

Compensation: $27 - $30 per hour (Guaranteed Pay)

Are you a winter warrior? Do you look at a snowstorm and think, "I got this"? If you're the type who loves being in charge while battling Mother Nature's frozen fury, we want you as our Winter Foreperson! Not only will you earn top pay, but we also guarantee your wages, even when the snow forgets to show up.

Why work with us?

  • Competitive Pay: Earn $27 - $30 per hour, depending on how skillfully you wield a snow plow and handle the cold.

  • Guaranteed Pay: Yes, you read that right. Whether it snows or the skies stay clear, your paycheck is locked in. You'll be sipping hot cocoa on the couch and still getting paid.

  • Leadership Role: Channel your inner snow general and lead a team of seasoned snow wranglers to victory (and safety) on commercial properties.

  • Growth Opportunity: Think of this as a stepping stone to snow-removal superstardom. If you’re great, we’ll beg you to come back every winter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of snowfighters, ensuring every flake is banished from commercial properties like it's your personal mission.

  • Coordinate operations like a snow ninja, overseeing plowing, shoveling, and salting while keeping your cool under pressure (and freezing temps).

  • Make sure our gear is ready to rumble — because a snow plow without maintenance is like a sled with no snow.

  • Communicate with clients and management, ensuring everyone is happy (and not slipping on ice).

  • Train and mentor the crew, transforming them into snow-removal superheroes.

  • Ensure that all operations are as safe as possible, because no one wants to spend their winter in a cast.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in snow removal and operating the mighty machines that get the job done.

  • Leadership experience — whether in snow removal or just bossing around your siblings, we'll take it.

  • A knack for managing a team and keeping cool when snowstorms strike.

  • Strong communication skills to handle fast-paced, sometimes “frosty” situations.

  • Availability for on-call shifts — because snow doesn’t take weekends off.

  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (no winter drifting, please).

  • The ability to survive — and thrive — in the harshest winter conditions. No fair-weather forepersons here!

Benefits:

  • Guaranteed Pay: Snow or no snow, you’ll be collecting that steady income all season long.

  • Overtime opportunities during blizzards — when the snow piles up, so do your earnings.

  • Potential for seasonal rehire or a full-time gig. Who knows, you might just love snow enough to stay for the long haul.
