Insight Global Logistics Analyst (Inbound) in Mississauga, Ontario
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an Inbound Logistics Analyst to join a multinational enterprise retail company. This person will be responsible for supporting key initiatives and executing Inbound Logistics freight monthly spend analysis against global and regional budget & forecast. They will support inbound costing and spend analysis, maintain cross functional logistics data visibility, and enable quantifiable insights. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Support Inbound freight spend forecast and support review cadence of reporting & AOP (Annual Operating Planning).
* Identify and address financial risks and areas of improvement through diagnostics analytics -- focusing on spend driver deep dive with the insights to why
* Support team in running annual global RFP (Request for Proposal). Based on key metrics and results from the RFP this role will assist in determining lane allocation of freight volume to LSP's.
* Partner with LSP to resolve any issues and escalate as needed.
* Support / lead periodical financial forecasting related processes.
* Generate monthly global performance presentations for global fulfillment and supply chain leadership related processes.
* Support origin and destination optimisation opportunities and/ or IBL strategic initiatives within assigned responsibilities.
* Lead analyses of forward-looking rate projections of Inbound freight rate impact to support new product category launches, various business decisions and profitability analysis.
* Drive clear connection of Inbound cost to margin impact by being the connection point of FP&A, Inbound function & procurement and inform cross functional partners upstream about margin impact of Inbound costs

Skills and Requirements
* 2+ years relevant experience in Inbound Logistics (freight origin, freight spend, logistic provider management, logistic provider performance, freight audit and pay, moving freight, category management etc.)
* BA/BS in related field - Business, Supply Chain, Analytics
* An understanding and practical knowledge of retail environment and transportation modelling
* Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills to build financial models and presentations
* Strong financial and business acumen with analytical skills to provide insights on rates, accrual, spend etc.
* Thrive in fast paced environment, independent worker, great interpersonal skills * Apparel, footwear or accessories experience null
