We are looking for a detail-oriented Regional Sales Representative in Ontario to lead our sales and grow the high performance door business.
You will foster a “safety first” culture through awareness, training, and accountability. The Regional Sales Representative will maintain a strong working knowledge of all industry standards and practices as well as the company’s products and services. To be successful, you should display a strong sales-minded attitude as well as excellent communication skills. You should develop and maintain strong positive relationships with customers and third-party vendors.
Develop and manage assigned territory through channels of distribution (dealer focus) and assist in segmentation sales inside the territory. Sell High Performance Door Solutions Albany, Dynaco and TKO Product to the HPD distribution channel and potential industrial market segments. Maintain a concentrated focus in Manufacturing, Controlled Environments, Public Transit, Food Processing, Cold Storage, Automotive (Retail and Mfg.), Chemical, and Airport areas. Work closely with Architects, Contractors, Design Build firms and Engineers.
Responsibility:
Maintain and grow market share throughout assigned territory
Strive to increase net profits in all product lines
Direct and coordinate promotion of products and services through dealer network and direct sales to end-users
Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders and talks with customers in person or by phone. Includes cold-calling
Perform product demonstrations for potential customers
Participation in training or other team activities to support ongoing continuous improvement
Minimum Qualifications:
Excellent selling technique
Highly motivated
5+ years selling industrial goods or related products
College Degree (4 Year school) preferred
Must understand the target audience within assigned territory
Effective interpersonal / communication skills required
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to effectively manage conflict, foster good team and inter-department relations
Bilingual in French preferred
Work Environment
Must be able to travel up to 75%
Must be willing to work independently, with flexible and additional hours as needed
