We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Billing Manager to oversee the billing process for group insurance premiums. As the Billing Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate billing of premiums, developing and implementing billing policies and procedures, and managing a team of billing specialists. Additionally, you will work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing, analyze billing data and provide reports to management, and identify and resolve billing issues in a timely manner.

salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the billing process for group insurance premiums, ensuring that invoices are generated accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Develop and implement effective billing policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Lead and manage a team of billing specialists, providing them with guidance, support, and training as needed.

  • Foster close collaboration with various departments to facilitate accurate and timely billing processes.

  • Conduct thorough analysis of billing data, preparing comprehensive reports for management that highlight key insights and recommendations.

  • Proactively identify and address any billing issues that arise, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders for resolution.

  • Serve as a point of contact for technical issues related to the billing system, providing detailed information to leadership for IT ticket creation.

  • Uphold compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements governing billing practices.

  • Monitor and enforce performance standards related to quality, quantity, and timeliness, ensuring that goals are consistently met.

  • Prepare and deliver SLA reporting to management, outlining performance metrics, achievements, and areas for improvement.
