Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Miramar, Florida

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Miramar, Florida. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, your primary role will be to handle vendor payments, invoice analysis, and record entries. Additionally, you will also be tasked with monitoring discount opportunities, preparing checks, and resolving discrepancies related to purchase orders, contracts, invoices, or payments.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner.

• Maintain precise records of customer credit.

• Handle normal supplier invoices, freight invoices, and FB60 transactions for non-three way match divisions.

• Prepare and verify billing information to support an accurate and efficient billing process and financial close.

• Assist the finance and accounting department with the payment and tracking of bills and reconciling conflicts.

• Enter and process transactions into electronic accounts receivable and billing systems.

• Responsibly answer trade-related queries and issues.

• Issue stop-payments or purchase order amendments when required.

• Reimburse employee expenses as per the company policy.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Invoice creation and Payment Processing

• Familiarity with Billing Functions and Check Processing

• Ability to Perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks

• Knowledge of General Ledger and Credit management

• Strong communication skills to Answer queries effectively

• Experience with Purchase Orders and Receipt management

• Competence in using Monitoring Tools

• Interest or experience in Consumer Electronics and Video production

• Ability to handle Closing procedures and Balance Sheet Account management

• Willingness to work Onsite as required

• Ability to adhere to Timelines and manage Schedules effectively

• Experience with Expense Account management

• Ability to create and utilize Templates for financial processes

• Experience in preparing and reviewing Expense Reports.
