Nidec Minster Corporation, is currently seeking a Global Process Lead - Finance to join our ERP Center of Excellence team. This person will be a motivated self-started, ideally with prior ERP implementation experience.

Global Process Lead - Finance - Job Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements from end users, facilitate business process discussions, and participate in solution design, documentation, configuration, testing, and end user training.

  • Support second level helpdesk requests as needed by qualifying and/or resolving support issues. Review and submit helpdesk issues to the ERP vendor as needed.

  • Work closely with subject matter experts and key system users to identify continuous improvement initiatives for processes, policies and procedures through feedback and statistical analysis.

  • Continually look for ways to drive best practice processes and procedures.

  • Work as a liaison and subject matter expert between technical teams and business owners for system updates, root cause analysis, and solution recommendations.

  • Analyze business cases to measure adherence to standardized practices and data governance standards.

  • Support the implementation and roll out of the business system and process to global locations. This position will require some travel.

  • This position will be trained in all areas of the solution to provide the overarching view of the business. They will be assigned key areas where they be the primary subject matter expert. Responsible for system configuration maintenance for their area of expertise.

    Global Process Lead - Finance - Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration with a specialization in Finance or Accounting.

  • 3+ years of experience working in the financial business processes with a good understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Experience working in finance modules within a modern ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is desired.

  • Experience working with the SAP FICO modules is a plus.

  • Experience with project methodology including planning, testing and documentation standards is a plus.

  • Ability to provide technical and functional training courses.

  • Strong process, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability and the desire to learn.

  • Strong communication and issue resolution skills required - must be able to effectively lead offshore teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of SAP deliverables.

  • Proven skills in Excel / Word / PowerPoint, decision-making, organizing and planning.

  • Ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed organization and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Remote work available - to be discussed.

  • Travel may be required occasionally to support global initiatives.

  • Eastern Time Zone hours with flexibility to support on a global level, up to 15% travel to support global project rollouts.
