Kellanova Distribution Center Manager in Minooka, Illinois

As the Warehouse Distribution Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations and performance at our dry regional distribution centers. Your key focus areas will include ensuring policy compliance while focusing on operating metrics, company goals, and objectives. Your responsibilities include managing cost budgeting, financial performance, service quality, and continuous improvement efforts. Additionally, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for customer and carrier performance, inventory management, and cost-saving initiatives.

In this role, you’ll be at the helm of critical projects. From optimizing warehouse processes to implementing efficiency-enhancing solutions, you’ll gain hands-on experience in project management. You’ll also interact with supply chain leaders, gaining exposure to strategic decision-making. This position will be on-site Monday through Thursday at the Minooka, IL distribution center, and can work remotely on Fridays.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Driving Solutions — Develop working relationships with local third-party providers to ensure customer orders are filled and on-time delivery measures are obtained. In addition, develop, monitor, and manage assigned distribution center budgets and report performance to senior management on a monthly basis. Provide monthly forecasted volume to DCs. Conduct business reviews quarterly with assigned DCs.

  • Delivering Project Accountabilities— Work to ensure all aspects of the order management process are met. Take corrective action when necessary to improve customer service levels and the cost/service equation. Attend annual customer visits to develop an understanding of customers' service expectations.

  • Driving Capabilities – Develop a working relationship with finance, logistics, transportation, and IP that supports issue resolution. In addition, you will develop strong business relationships with our third-party vendors, including public warehouses, warehouse suppliers, VAS suppliers, and real estate.

    We’re Looking for Someone With

  • High School diploma/GED.

  • Able to balance conflicting priorities and provide clear direction and focus.

  • Business and Supply Chain experience, including Warehousing, Inventory Management, Materials Management, and/or Transportation Management.
