Detailed Description
Modifies existing software/application programs, which are typically more complex in nature, or writes new programs to support user and management needs. Designs, tests, debugs, documents, and implements those programs. Consults with users to design, modify, and explain program changes or to provide technical support. Resolves problems which occur in production systems. Application programming interface (API) rest service development against the Huntington National Bank API Gateway. Java programming language development to event/publish data to our Enterprise Event Hub that sits on the Kafka platform. Partnering with the quality assurance team to ensure software is performing as expected and defects/bugs are fixed in the code as soon as possible. Extract, transform, load (ETL) development to select data from multiple sources to create a single output file. Microsoft SQL server development from an operational data store to downstream systems. Java programming language interface development and support of outbound files to internal systems. Developing data pipelines to the enterprise data warehouse on the Snowflake platform. May serve as project leader in the development of automated systems or procedures. Provides direction and training to other team members.
Job Requirements
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field and three years of software development experience. Experience must include development with Restful APIs, Java programming language, ETL, Microsoft SQL server, Java programming language interface, and data pipelines. Alternatively, we will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of software development experience as described above.
Hybrid work schedule may apply. Must live in MN within 40 miles of the Minnetonka, MN office.

Compensation Range:
$106,000 - $124,000 Annual Salary
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
