Non-Invasive Cardiologist – AdventHealth Medical Group at Minneola
AHMG Cardiology in Minneola is looking for a dynamic and non-invasive cardiologist to join our team. This physician will be based at our Clermont Health Park with hospital coverage at AdventHealth Winter Garden until AdventHealth Minneola opens. The physician will help continue to grow a new market in association with our physicians and advanced practice providers. The new physician would join the new hospital currently under construction in Minneola when this campus opens.
Requirements for the position: Board Certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty board certification in Cardiovascular Disease. High caliber, quality focused, innovative physicians should apply. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
The AdventHealth Heart, Lung and Vascular Institute is one of the busiest centers of its kind in the nation. We are a leading provider of cardiovascular and thoracic services among Medicare patients with national rankings that include: #1 in Cardiology volume, #1 in Vascular Surgery volume, #5 in Thoracic Surgery volume and #8 in Open Heart Surgery volume. The AH HLVI is centered in a tertiary facility known as AdventHealth Orlando within the Ginsburg Tower. This 15-story sanctuary of healing offers patients a full range of comprehensive heart and vascular care, including 12 hybrid operating rooms housing electrophysiology, vascular and invasive cardiology.
Practice Description
AdventHealth is thrilled to announce the expansion into South Lake County with the establishment of AdventHealth Minneola, located in the city of Minneola. This new facility will be a four-story, 80-bed hospital situated on Hancock Road at Florida’s Turnpike. It will feature an emergency department, full-service imaging, four operating suites, endoscopy services, an outpatient laboratory, and heart catheterization labs. These additions aim to address the growing healthcare needs in one of Florida’s fastest-growing counties.
This position is with AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG), a division of AdventHealth employing over 700 physicians across nearly 70 specialties. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive compensation, occurrence-based malpractice insurance, paid family leave, CME days and allowance, a 403(b) retirement plan, and health insurance for the physician and their family. A relocation allowance is also provided. The supportive model and practice management framework enable physicians to concentrate on clinical practice.
