Wholesale Marketing Intern

May-August (Flexible) 

On-site at our Lakeville and Lyndale location

Bachman's is seeking a motivated and creative Wholesale Marketing Intern to join our Marketing team. This role is an exciting 12-week opportunity for a student passionate about marketing and eager to gain hands-on experience in the horticulture industry. As a Marketing Intern, you’ll be part of an active, cross-functional team working closely with wholesale, retail, and creative departments. You will have a direct impact on real projects, gaining experience in market analysis, social media, video production, and project management. This is a paid internship. 

Job Duties:

  • SWOT Analysis: Conduct a full SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis of Bachman’s Wholesale Market. This will serve as a foundation for strategic planning and will be a valuable tool for the team to identify and act upon market opportunities. 

  • Creative Brief Development: Collaborate with the team to develop a comprehensive creative brief for a final summer project. This brief will outline goals, messaging, target audience, and creative direction. 

  • Content Creation & Support: Assist with the planning, production, and editing of video content, social media posts, and marketing materials that align with the sales strategy. 

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with different teams to gather insights, provide creative support, and ensure alignment on marketing initiatives. Gain firsthand experience in how departments collaborate to achieve business goals. 

  • On-site Marketing & Events Support: Support on-site marketing activities and events at Bachman’s on Lyndale and Bachman’s Farm.  

    Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a marketing, business, communications, or related field. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to think creatively. 

  • Experience with social media platforms and familiarity with content creation tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar. 

  • Organized, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to tasks and learning. 

  • Ability to split time between Bachman’s on Lyndale and Bachman’s Farm locations as needed. 

    Schedule:

  • 40 hours a week, M-F. May-August, on-site
