Job Title: MIG Welder

Job Type: Full-time (Monday through Thursday - 6am-4:30pm)

Location: Blaine, MN

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled MIG welder to join our team. As a MIG welder, you will be responsible for welding metal components together to create a variety of products. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding, be detail-oriented, and have excellent hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the welding requirements

  • Set up welding equipment and select the appropriate welding technique based on the requirements

  • Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions

  • Ensure that the welding equipment is maintained and repaired as needed

  • Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards

  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments together

  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Proven experience as a MIG welder

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams

  • Familiarity with welding tools and equipment

  • Knowledge of welding techniques and safety procedures

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy objects
