Accenture Technology Sales Director - Products (Retail, Travel, & Consumer Goods) in Minneapolis, Minnesota

You know – and have run all phases of a sales cycle, including qualification, sales pursuit and close by applying deep sales process and technical expertise. You develop relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new and existing clients by using a differentiated roadmap and framework leveraging the latest cloud-based technologies.The Work:
Create solutions to complex technology business problems/opportunities requiring in-depth knowledge of client buyer needs.
Interacts with senior management levels at clients and within Accenture, determines pursuit strategies, develops client messaging plans and relationships, and applies industry-leading Cloud transformation strategies and practices.
Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
Operates within large teams and directs specific team sales activities.
What You Will Do:
The Sales Director will focus on facilitating deals through relationships and offering a win strategy to the process. They will represent Technology Services and will develop and grow client relationships to deepen our opportunities for sales in the technology, cloud, and data domain and will be responsible for day-to-day sales management, with emphasis on opportunity qualification, win strategy definition/execution, proposal development, orals presentation, and support of contract negotiations. The successful candidate will apply Accenture's corporate strategies, client service group priorities, and formal sales management processes to secure new contracts and deliver sales that meet or exceed financial goals within acceptable risk parameters.Key Responsibilities:
Sales: Developing, Validating, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities
Provides solutions to complex business problems where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
Interacts with senior management levels at a client and within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters
Manages large work efforts as an individual contributor within Accenture.
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
What You Need:
Minimum 8 years of experience in sales for a large Consulting, Technology, System Integration and/or Outsourcing Services provider
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales within Retail, CPG, or Travel sectors
Minimum 3 years’ record of sales quota attainment against a minimum annual $20M quota
Demonstrated track record of meeting quota in Tech Sales, Account specific origination, Relationship building with CXOs, Ecosystem orchestration
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. In addition to base pay, this Sales role is eligible for additional incentive compensation under the Sales Achievement Bonus Plan which is based on achievement toward individual sales targets, subject to Plan terms
