Based in our Chanhassen, Minnesota location, you will help nuclear powercustomers solve problems and determine which products to buy. In this role you will work both independently and with multiple functional teams to answer customer technical questions, provide quotations, and prepare all customer orders for action by the factory.Rosemount Nuclear & Subsea provides innovative measurement solutions which meet the highest quality standards for the most demanding and safety critical customer applications. We are best in class at what we do, and a valuable part of Emersons Rosemount-branded pressure transmitter business.AS A TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER YOU WILL:Provide presale and post-sale technical support for assigned accounts and products.Conduct phone and email conversations with internal and external customers professionally, courteously, and in the best interests of Emerson.Identify customer requirements and develop product quotations based on vague customer application requirements and/or ISA specification sheets.Interface with Nuclear and Subsea personnel to define and price nonstandard hardware, documentation, and buy/resale items, and obtain pricing/discount approval as required.Gain familiarity and working knowledge of the Nuclear Power industry.Learn and follow the Rosemount Nuclear and Subsea Quality Management System.Work closely with Emerson sales, compliance, contract, and legal personnel to establish and maintain understanding of general business practices, and to ensure Emerson standard business terms and conditions and U.S. export regulations are met where applicable.Actively participate in and propose product and process improvements utilizing Emerson Lean, Quality, and Perfect Execution tools, as well as customer feedback and personal experience.Product Scope: nuclear qualified pressure measurement devices and accessories.Geographic Scope: customers are located in the United States and Canada.WHO YOU ARE:You understand the importance of building customer relationships.
