Apply for Job Job ID365959 LocationTwin Cities Job FamilyStu Administrative/Support Full/Part TimePart-Time Regular/TemporaryRegular Job Code2222 Employee ClassStudent Insurance Eligible Add to Favorite Jobs Email this Job About the Job Duties and Responsibilities: * General administrative support * Generate, edit, and distribute certificates for continuing education * Data verification in office CRM (constituent relationship management) database system, including title, credentials, cross-referencing with other systems, etc. * Data management, including creation of Excel and Google spreadsheets, transcription and organization of survey response data, and compilation of mailing lists * Assist with filing and records management * Create registration and evaluation forms and reports using Qualtrics and Google Forms * Conduct internet research and summarize findings to leadership * Assist with communications and events * Assist with event logistics and preparation * Publicly introduce speakers, make logistical announcements, and support live presenters * Support National Center staff with customer ticketing system management * Registration management support using the DestinyOne registration platform and Google Sheets, preparation of basic registration reports * Assist with setting up and hosting webinars * Assist with the creation and dissemination of communications via MailChimp and social media * Track social media content planning and draft social media content for various platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) * Other duties as assigned General Information About the Position: The National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education is seeking a student administrative and events assistant for 10-15 hours per week starting in the Spring 2025 semester, with the potential for Summer and Fall 2025 employment. A successful candidate for this position will be flexible, adaptable, self-starting, and willing to take on a wide variety of projects in order to support the operations of a fast-paced, collaborative team. This position will be primarily virtual, with work conducted via email, regularly scheduled Zoom meetings, Google Docs and Sheets, etc. with some in-person work at our offices on the University campus and event locations as needed. Candidates must be available for 10-15 working hours per week primarily scheduled on weekdays between the hours of 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. This position is in an upper level, highly visible office and requires the ability to perform with professionalism and competence in high-pressure situations and in a rapidly changing environment. This is a good opportunity for students interested in careers in health care, biomedical sciences, communications, HR, or interested in gaining experience in office administration, events and special projects management. Qualifications Required Qualifications: * Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities * Previous office work and customer service experience * Excellent written and verbal communication skills (grammar, punctuation, spelling, and editing) * Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and Microsoft Word/Google Docs) * Strong organizational skills * High level of professionalism, flexibility, and a comfort with taking initiative Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with event coordination and logistics management * Experience with basic academic research, including familiarity with AMA and APA formats * Experience with CRM and/or other database reporting and maintenance * Experience with electronic communications and social media * Experience running webinars or other live virtual events * Experience with basic data analysis in Excel or Google Sheets * Interest in health care and/or public health About the Department General information about the unit: The National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education at the University of Minn sota is a unique public-private partnership.
