Our dynamic and successful Structures Group is seeking a full-time Structural Engineer. This position would be based in our Minneapolis office. As a Structural Engineer, you would be responsible for the design and/or management of structural engineering projects for public infrastructure projects. Responsibilities: Prepare structural design calculations and perform analyses on projects of varying complexity using hand calculations, analysis software, and other accepted methods. Prepare plans and specifications for construction projects that comply with applicable codes and regulations. Perform construction administration with periodic field inspections. Assisting with generating required engineering reports, performing quantity estimates, detailing, and drafting. Bridge inspections and load ratings with some travel possible. Ensure SRF's quality procedures are maintained for all work. Additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Minimum B.S. in civil engineering with a structural emphasis; master's degree in structural engineering is a plus Minimum of two years of experience in a related field. EIT Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months Excellent communication skills Enthusiastic and positive attitude Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
