This position is part of the Project Management team located ON-SITE in Fargo, ND. At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the Project Management Team and report to the Manager, mRNA Project Management responsible for driving projects to completion by coordinating cross-functional activities and ensuring that all departments are accountable for deliverables while meeting delivery deadlines for development projects and manufacturing campaigns across all service levels for Aldevron clients with complex projects.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Act as a critical point of contact for clients by leading project team meetings, conducting project reviews, ensuring follow-up of actions items, and escalating issues when required as well as maintain project documentation including project plan timelines, status reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
Use critical thinking to proactively identify project barriers, generate solutions to problems and/or escalate issues internally and externally as required.
Effectively communicate and interact with internal and external teams providing project updates, changes in project scope, timing, or requirements while maintaining confidentiality.
Mentor other team members and identify trends and potential project management-related training needs supporting or conducting training as needed.
Identify opportunities for, contribute to, and lead advanced training and/or process improvement initiatives and represent the department in cross-functional events and review boards.
The essential requirements of the job include:
B.S. or B.A. required, life sciences degree highly preferred
Prefer 5+ years of experience in project management
Experience managing client-facing projects required
Experience in a regulated biotechnology or pharmaceutical field or CDMO highly preferred
Understanding of GMP product manufacturing from initiation through release capabilities required
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- RNA drug substance and ideally drug product
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
