Sr Director Product Management

This individual effectively bridges the gap between business and technology to achieve company objectives. They lead cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality and innovative software solutions that transform the business. Engaging with cross-functional leadership across the organization, they capture and reflect product needs while monitoring agile team performance to ensure continuous improvement and achieve the highest quality at the lowest cost.

A successful candidate will have a background in:

  • Ensuring customer needs are met through strategic roadmaps and recognizing opportunities to implement best practices in product management.

  • Identifying and maintaining company objectives; driving adherence to assigned OKRs through storytelling and quantitative/qualitative research.

  • Leading and mentoring product managers, enforcing best practices in customer experience, and supporting product management initiatives.

  • Prioritizing, executing, and delivering on program backlog initiatives in alignment with the company vision and objectives.

  • Establishing and managing customer feedback loops, demonstrating strong communication skills, and fostering positive partnerships with stakeholders.

  • Achieving delivery team performance targets (on-time delivery, quality, budget) while monitoring controls, mitigating risk, and aligning with stakeholders on readiness objectives and user needs.

  • Driving continuous process improvements for a high-quality end-to-end change implementation experience and delivery cycle.

  • Building skills and developing talent needed to support change implementation strategies in a heavily cross-functional organization.

  • Developing strong and successful working relationships with peers, senior leaders, key business partners, and vendors to deliver high-quality results.

  • Supporting change management initiatives and the delivery ecosystem; possessing technical acumen related to product and software development life cycles.

What You Bring:

Minimum Requirements:

  • 12 years of experience required.

  • Background in financial services, insurance, and/or operations; proven strategic leadership, business acumen, relationship building, and experience in leading/developing people on technical projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agile/SAFE training and certifications.

  • Working knowledge of ALM software such as JIRA, Polarion, etc.
